| approach to POTTERY The pottery is one of the oldest technologies, if not the first, developed by human beings. The first pottery pieces dating from the Neolithic (5000-2500 BC). Since then until today the various forms of baked clay have accompanied our species. From birth to death, hunting and agriculture, to eat, cook, heal or attack; into the ground floor and that on the roof that covers us pottery is present. Few discoveries have proved, for so long, as useful as pottery; almost nothing has covered as wide a range of needs. From the earliest Neolithic vessels to the covers of refractory spacecraft, the clay has been an outstanding servant of humanity, has helped us to live better and beautify our surroundings, but this combination of technique and art pottery that is is often little appreciated. The objective of our work is to help you know and love pottery in general and in particular our production. |
